Holiday Illness – Awareness is best friend during this time

All have one of the best time to celebrating joy, happiness with family and friends during holiday.

But there are lots of reasons why the holidays have people feeling sick.

Most people get their workouts accomplished in the gym because of the cold weather, so used exercise equipment, such as a used treadmill, and other used fitness equipment can turn into incubators for germs because more people are inside working out instead of being outside and more people are sick in the winter time.

Get the flu vaccine, which is not only prevents the flu, but it can also boost your immune system so you do not get any other nasty colds that may be connected to the flu.

If body is not as immune to other colds, so you may get even sicker before you get better when you contract the flu. Also, the flu can last for a week or longer, something that can definitely ruin the holidays.

After use the restroom and after you have been in a crowded area (such a mall), washing hands is one thing that requires the least amount of effort, yet it is something that will keep you healthy. Get good antibacterial soap and wash your hands on a regular basis.

Do not go outside when it is very cold in outfits that are appropriate for summer. Wear a heavy, winter jacket, gloves, a scarf, mittens, and a hat.

It is important to keep your head warm when you are outside, so your body does not get too cold. When your body is cold for long periods of time, it becomes more susceptible to germs. Try not to stay outside for too long without the appropriate clothing.

Eating poorly can also cause people to feel sick. Oranges are high in Vitamin C and greens are also good for your body.

So if you planning for any type of camping trip than first consider “Tent” which is one of the important requirements in trip compare to other things.

Winter campers might want to try canvas tents which are generally much warmer and thicker than other cheap tents.

At very first please check about if it has a rain fly. This is crucial for protecting the top of your tent and keeping rain water from seeping through the top. Don't settle for one that just partially covers your tent. You need it to go over the entire top, not just part of it.

Another thing is that, it’s at least double sealed. Many tents will be sold this way; however, it never hurts to seal it again with a tube you can get at your local outdoor store.

Lastly, a footprint that is put under your tent will be very valuable in keeping water from getting in from underneath you.

The popularity of Nile cruises among travelers today have become extremely rampant that choosing which particular Nile cruise package to book can be rather overwhelming.

Are you going to embark on a cruise as part of a family vacation or a relaxing and romantic getaway for you and that special someone?

Knowing this would help you choose which company you will be booking your cruise package with based on the amenities that would let you get the most out of your vacation.

Egypt is a treasure chest filled with riches and wonders of the ancient world. Unfortunately, most of these destinations are located relatively far apart from each other. If you travel by land, you would need to book multiple hotel reservations and spend majority of the time traveling from one tourist spot to another.

Another thing to consider is just how much you are willing to spend for your Nile Cruise package. More luxurious cruise ships generally provide you with more amenities such as an onboard spa, fitness center, shopping and photo center and the like.

However, these naturally cost a lot more. If you are one of those people that want to try something new on a budget, it would be best to book your cruise package with one of the lesser known cruise companies.

Ski Chalets – Enjoy you vacations with full relaxation

When one mentions the word chalet, often images of skiing in the Swiss Alps come to mind, but one does not have to go to Switzerland or be a pro-skier to experience a chalet vacation!

Traveling to any ski resort, whether in the USA, Canada, or Europe, chalets can provide an excellent opportunity to relax, have a mug of hot chocolate by the fireplace, and unwind in the isolation of snowy mountains surrounded by loved ones or strangers about to become new friends.

The dictionary defines a chalet as a wooden home with a sloped roof and overhanging eaves, common in Switzerland and other areas in the Alps, but these days it's not restricted to Switzerland at all. Most cottage or lodges built to resemble chalets in the Alps are called chalets. In some parts of Quebec, any vacation home built near a ski hill is called a chalet, whether or not its built in the traditional style.

Chalets were originally used by dairy farmers in Europe during the summer months. To prevent the milk from spoiling during transport, they would stay in the chalets and make milk or cheese. In the early years of the 20th century the idea came about to use these chalets as a holiday, an extension of the country house weekend. In the early sixties, chalets were accommodations that one would share with eight or ten guests to share. Sharing the one chalet also meant sharing one hot water tank so guests would race to be the first people back inside after the lifts stopped.

Those that came after the first one back were rewarded with afternoon tea as a consolation prize. The warm tea became a staple of chalet-living and continues to this day with either tea, hot cocoa or good quality wine.

Italy Vacation Rentals - Your Luxury Stay for Family Holidays Enjoyment

The modern word “luxury” comes from the Latin: luxus, meaning “abundance”. To have what you desire in abundance is the essence of luxury, and is there any place in the world more naturally abundant than Italy?

Name an earthly delight and it is available abundantly in Italy. People journey the world over to sample the luxury that is Italy. They tour the countryside to take in the views of rolling groves of olives and blood oranges. They climb the ancient steps of the Palatine Hill.

They sample the epicurean pleasures at the small oratories that dot Italy’s landscape. They bask in the sunlight and architecture of her southern coasts. You will never find a place on earth more luxurious than Italy at her best.

And if it is luxury that you’re after, luxury rental accommodations can be yours with a simple Internet search. Luxury vacation rentals are available in Italy throughout the year.

Type: luxury, rental, and Italy into your favorite search engine and you will find yourself beset with firms prepared to cater to your desires. Broker firms like “Parker Villas” or “Luxury Retreats” cater to the desires of the discerning traveler.

Log onto their websites and you will see an array of choices: a rustic villa built on Etruscan ruins, a medieval hamlet replete with fountains, an appointed winery just off the La Strada Del Vino, or an apartment just off the via Condotti in Rome—whatever your desire, you will find it abundantly in Italy.

Have you wondered what it was like to just slow down long enough to enjoy the fruits of pleasure? Have you ever watched movies set in Italy and marveled in the Italian ability to enjoy all that life has to offer? Did you ever wonder what it was like to live in Italy? Stop wondering and start living.

The rental industry in Italy has made Italian vacations more affordable than ever. With prices at about $700 a week for a mid-ranged rental house in Tuscany there is no time like the present to experience Italy like an Italian. For the price of a trip to Disney or a week at the beach you can be living in another country, slowing down, and learning to breathe again.

For a price less than you would pay to stay at a crowded beach you can wake to the bright pleasures of a Tuscan sunrise, wander the silvery groves of olives or the rolling fields of grapes, or relax to a hot cup of cappuccino at a piazza in Rome.

Rent a farmhouse in Umbria and tend sheep for a week. Rent a villa in Capri and relax amidst ocean views or on the patio of your private pool. If you’re a history buff then look no further. Rome, Herculaneum, and Pompeii await. Picture yourself there and then make it happen.

A search on: cheap, rental, Italy will produce millions of hits so it’s probably best to narrow the search by region or desire. Do you want to stay in a city or do you prefer the country? Do you like wine? Do you like historical sites?

Maybe you want a villa with a pool? Using the appropriate key words in a search engine you can find the exact vacation you desire. Remember that while broker prices are slightly higher than classifieds, they usually save you the hassle of communications, taxes, and even can assist with transportation. Happy hunting.

Name an earthly delight and it is available abundantly in Italy. Luxury vacation rentals are available in Italy throughout the year.

Spain Interesting Places - The Cordoba Mosque

The Mosque of Cordoba has had an interesting history, beginning as a Moorish Mosque in the 10th century and consecrated as a Christian Cathedral in the 13th century after the conquest of Cordoba. Throughout the years it has undergone many alterations.

The Royal Chapel was built after the Recon quest as a pantheon for Spanish Kings and has also been much improved by succeeding generations. A nave was added later while the minaret of the old Mosque was converted into a bell tower. Some sections of the mosque were converted from the original Arabic architecture to Mudejar or converted to Moorish style and later to Gothic style.

Inside the Mosque

The inside of the Mosque is stunning, with a profusion of arches and pillars that gives one the impression of being inside a tent in the desert. The arches were made with alternating segments of brick and stone, the red brick layers alternating with the white stone layers and making us aware that though we are in a Christian church, this was once a Moorish house of worship. The profusion of columns further adds to the sensation of being inside a desert dwelling.

The Mihrab

The Mihrab had its origins in the prayer niches of the Coptic Christians. In mosques it is usually placed in the wall facing Mecca and is often decorated. At the mosque in Cordoba, it has been lavishly decorated since it was built in the age of the greatest splendor of Moorish Spain.

Golden Byzantine mosaics make us aware that Cordoba was one of the most prosperous as well as populous cities of Europe. Its poets, intellectuals and artisans excelled in their pursuits and their influence is seen in the construction of the mosque.

The Cathedral

In the sixteenth century, a cathedral was built inside the mosque and over the years, it has been improved and decorated by Spain's best craftsmen. The Gothic style of the cathedral is particularly interesting because of the many items that are a part of the decor. Two mahogany pulpits with a life-sized bull and lion in marble are some of the attractions that welcome the tourists.

The Bell Tower

The Bell Tower, originally the minaret of the mosque, is a good place to get some stupendous views of the city of Cordoba. You will need to climb a number of steps to get there but the effort is well worth it. The mosque itself is set on a hill and the height of the bell tower makes it an ideal place to see the surrounding countryside as well.

Own Vacation Home – Benefits for your enjoyment

A second home owner is more likely a higher educated baby boomer.

Higher educated baby boomers are the most likely candidates to own a second home according to a study that was conducted by Harvard University. On the report it stated that it was four times more likely that a higher educated individual would own a second home over a high school educated person.

Here are some of the benefits of having your own vacation home

1. Easily Arrange Mini Vacations

With your own vacation spot, you can quickly and easily arrange retreats without any prior planning, reservations or packing of clothes. If your vacation is set up correctly, you can go on holiday at little to no moment's notice.

2. Potential Income

Many people, who have their own vacation home, usually have a property manager who handles the weekly and weekend rental. In many vacation spots, you may have a situation where its income outstrips the mortgage payments.

Although it's possible for you to save a whole lot of money managing the property yourself. If you take the necessary steps, it's possible for you to become very successful at it.

With the right kind of attitude, it's often as much fun as it is rewarding, providing you implement the appropriate system. However, if you do decide to hire a management company, then you should ask lots of question.

However, most of the money comes from the homes appreciation over time. There was a report from a real estate journal written some years ago that said a home purchased in Utah for $485,000 resold for $945,000, only two years after its initial purchase, which is a remarkable 79% return on investment.

3. Quality Tenancy

The overwhelming majority of those who are able to rent a vacation home are usually financially free or stable and, will respect your property and are more likely to leave after their allotted time has passed. This is a breath of fresh air, especially when you consider the tenants that damage properties and create eviction issues.

4. Traditions of the Family

A family may spend a Christmas, summer or thanksgiving at their vacation spot. The time that they'll spend their together can only be categorized as priceless.

Whenever ever you arrive at your vacation home you should feel as though you've arrived at home. Make sure you adorn your holiday home with familiar items and use specific items that make you feel both settled and calm. This should make you feel relaxed, help you sleep and make visiting your vacation spot a whole lot of fun.

Cruise Holiday Deals 2010 – Be Relax with Full Enjoyment

For many regular cruise passengers, onboard entertainment is almost more important than the shore excursions. There are those who prefer something quieter and may not want spectacular floor shows, but they will still check out the talks, the demonstrations and the musical options available before booking cruise deals.

Cunard has always had a reputation for securing top-flight entertainers, eminent speakers for their lectures, and best selling writers and journalists for onboard talks.

On the Queen Mary 2 opportunities for onboard relaxation are endless. She was built for long sea voyages, so she is equipped with a wide range of entertainment to help while away the hours at sea. QM2 has a two-tier theatre, the Royal Court, which has seating for 1,100, and the productions compare favorably with the best West End shows.

Passengers with a penchant for tripping the light fantastic should head for the Queen's Room. At 134-feet wide, with one-ton chandeliers shimmering from the high ceilings the ballroom is the largest afloat, and with its glamour and size, could probably host Strictly Come Dancing.

When it's not acting as a dance venue the room becomes the setting for the captain's cocktail receptions, the ship's horse races (not real horses... they are all cardboard cut-outs) and the popular trivia contests.

As well as plenty of relaxing public lounges, for passengers who like a flutter there is the casino, and for those with champagne tastes there's the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar. Strategically situated between the ballroom and the theatre, what better way to start the evening than with a glass of bubbly served in a Waterford crystal flute?

Queen Victoria's Royal Court theatre has the ultimate in theatre going for passengers occupying suite accommodation - private boxes on the upper level of the theatre. Audience capacity is less than on the QM2, so with this arrangement of seating everyone has an unobstructed view of the stage.

Like her sister ships, Queen Victoria has a health club and spa with the latest beauty treatments available, and for anyone needing to burn off those extra calories there is a gym with the very latest in cardiovascular exercise machines.

For something more sedentary, the library, a striking two-deck space, lined with mahogany paneling and equipped with comfy leather furnishings, has 6,000 books to browse through, plus the services of full time librarians.

Retail therapy is always available on Cunard Cruises and on Queen Victoria 4,000 square feet of deck space has been allocated for shopping. The Royal Arcade, modelled on London's grand Regency arcades, is conveniently situated close to the Casino.

More shopping opportunities are available in the Cunardia shop attached to the Cunard Museum, where Cunard devotees can stock up on memorabilia.

The new addition to the fleet, Queen Elizabeth, will have all the entertainment, exercise, retail, and relaxation opportunities of her sister ships, with one or two unique innovations of her own, such as a bowling green and a croquet lawn using artificial grass, thus negating the need for a lawnmower.

Top Beach Travel Destination - Porto De Galinhas Brazil

Easily one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, Porto de Galinhas looks like it is straight out of a postcard. Long stretches of white sand are framed by palm trees, mangrove forests, turquoise water, and brightly colored fishing boats. In fact, the town has won the award by Voyage and Tourism for best beach in Brazil six years in a row.

Kitesurfers, surfers, divers, and sun bathers come from all over Brazil and the rest of the world to explore this beautiful stretch of coastline. One of the best features for snorkelers and divers are the ocean pools created by the reef walls, havens for sea life of all kinds. The reefs are fragile however, and some are off limits to travelers.

This playground for the Brazilian elite has a sordid past. Porto de Galinhas means Port of Chickens and this stunning beach was once the port stop for African slave merchants after Recife banned human trafficking.

Forbidden to mention the word slaves, people would instead say that there were new chickens in the port, hence the name Porto de Galinhas.

Now an expensive resort town, many travelers choose to stay elsewhere and visit Porto de Galinhas during the day. Recife is a modern and dynamic city a little over an hour away that has frequent transportation to the beach and plenty of accommodation options for about a third of what you would pay to be right on this famous beach.

Porto de Galinhas also doesn't have much in the way of nightlife, which is another reason why people choose to stay elsewhere. Recife has a vibrant and interesting nightlife with enough variety to suit every taste and budget.

If you don't want to stay in Recife, another option for accommodation near this spectacular beach is Olinda, a small colonial town located on a hill overlooking Recife. This UNESCO World Heritage site still maintains the feel of a 17th century village and has sweeping views, artist galleries, and plenty of restaurants and cafes for an evening's conversation over some wine.

What's more, you should always bear in mind that you may live in a hotel that has no elevator and you have to carry some heavy luggage up to your floor.

5. Stay in one town

Don't visit too many places in a short vacation. If you choose Germany as a destination for a short vacation, picking up one city or one town to visit and stay is a smart choice. Thus, you can enjoy the vacation without wearing yourself out traveling long distances in a hurry. Instead, you can get familiar with the local customs and feel embraced in the charming town through your stay. You will feel more relaxing in the vacation and look forward to a second visit.

6. Shopping tips

Shopping in a environment-friendly way. When you do some grocery shopping in Germany, be aware that you need unlock the cart by paying a deposit and after you use it, you can get your deposit back when you return the cart. Moreover, you are expected to bring your own bags to carry the groceries since the bags need to be purchased in Germany. Bringing your own bag is not only a way to save money but also a move to protect the environment in the long run.

7. Public phones

Public phones are rarely seen in Germany so you'd better make your cell phone bill paid before you leave. However, in some public places such as cafes, you may be allowed to make free phone calls and have free access to the Internet. But such places are rare and hard to find.

8. Dining tips

Water in most restaurants in Germany is not free, and don't be surprised when you are asked to pay for it. You are also expected to tip the waiters or waitresses in bars and restaurants in Germany. A good tip in Germany is two or three EUR.

Top 5 Thailand Destinations

Backpackers truly have the world at their feet. With a minimum amount of luggage, enough cash in the bank and a travel insurance policy to cover unforeseen emergencies, life could not be easier.

Almost every country on earth is geared up to accept backpackers with open arms. In fact the whole backpacking industry has been growing steadily for the last 20 years and shows no sign of abating.

In fact, some countries are so geared up could be forgiven for thinking they are being excluded from the local community. Special backpacker accommodation, special backpacker buses, special back packer tours are just some of the elements of this growing industry designed to cater exclusively for predominantly young travellers with a pack on the back.

In Thailand, it is possible to go on a backpacking tour and never talk to a local! Whilst this may suit some people, including some locals, there are still plenty who are looking for an adventure and a taste of the local lifestyle. In this article we will look at the five top backpacker destinations in Thailand to help you plan your trip.

Ko Pha Ngan:-

Although the beach here is legendary there's much more to do than simply lie around on the sand. You can drift from beach to beach if you wish as there are over a dozen to choose from, but with a little more effort it's worthwhile exploring the interior jungle where you will find waterfalls and miles of hiking tracks. You can stay for a few days in luxurious accommodation or go a bit downmarket and stay for a couple of weeks.

Ko Tao:-

This is probably Thailand's top destination for scuba divers. The crystal clear water and the stunning coral reef make this one of the world's most popular places to obtain a scuba licence. It is also extremely cheap and you can have a really awesome holiday here whilst doing a little business on the side.

Sangkhlaburi:-

This fascinating Bordertown is the only place in Thailand where you will see such a diverse ethnic spectrum. Each of the Burmese, Non, Karen, Thai and Lao inhabitants insist on speaking their own language but if English is your native tongue it won't make much of a difference anyway. Although it is bereft of most of the tourist trappings you may become used to in other parts of Thailand, you can relax and watch the fishing boats on the lake and simply relax and immerse yourself into an unusual part of the country.

Khao Sok National Park:-

This unusual National Park is a welcome contrast to the sand and jungle that shrouds most of Thailand. You can walk alone through the thick rain forests and stand in awe of the waterfalls splashing over limestone cliffs. It is simply breathtaking.

Mae Hong Son Province:-

Located in the deep north west of Thailand, the province is mostly mountain and forest. It has been a hidden jewel until the last couple of years as more tourists, prominently backpackers, have become aware of this "off the beaten track" destination. Without saying any more, make you a promise and visit this remote part of Thailand.
Remember to organize your holiday insurance before arriving in Thailand and take the time out to visit at least one of these unusual destinations for the trip of a lifetime.

Vietnam Vacation Destinations Holidays Tips

Vietnam is a country with many faces and a history that reflects a long series of conflicts with its neighbors. After you have organized your travel insurance and sit down to plan your visit to Vietnam, there are plenty of things to consider and plenty of places to visit.

If you are of a historical persuasion, there will be plenty to occupy you as you travel from town to town building up a picture of a long history of conflict that has marked Vietnamese history over the past thousand years.

Alternatively, if you are an everyday tourist who is looking forward to enjoying the sights and sounds and food of an exotic country, then Vietnam will serve it up to you in platters.

Without wanting to crowd your itinerary, let's look at a shortlist of three destinations that offer you a broad cross-section of Vietnam and which capture the essence of the country as a whole.

Halong Bay

This stunningly beautiful bay has a collection of over 3000 islands which seemed to emerge from the water like a flotilla of green emeralds. Now a world Heritage site, Halong Bay is the place to take a boat cruise so you can get closer to the spectacularly beautiful beaches and grottoes that are dotted around in their hundreds.

If you choose the right cruise, you will also have time to explore the magnificent caves which have been illuminated for the benefit of tourists. After that you can relax on one of the many sandy beaches and soak in the atmosphere.

Nha Trang

There are some wonderful contrasts in this indisputably beautiful town.

On the one hand you will witness a bustling, Metropolis driven by commerce, and on the other Western-style resort town with hotels and restaurants strung out along a beautiful beach.

Nha Trang will keep you busy with boat trips and scuba diving both popular pastimes. Add to that the famous mud baths all surrounded by dozens of historic sites and you have the complete tourist package in one place.

Phong Nha Cave

Located in the Ke Bang National Park, these 400 million-year-old caves are the oldest in Asia. To get there in need to take a charter boat which departs early in the morning arriving back late in the afternoon.

After travelling the 55 km you'll be able to marvel at the limestone formations as you wind your way through the kilometres of underground passageways. The main underground cavern is nearly 8 km long and you will be able to choose from 14 other caves to explore in what must be one of the wonders of Vietnam. The caves are often closed during November and December during the rainy season, so make sure you schedule your visit outside of these months.

These three must see destinations are not generally on the itinerary of most tourists. Do yourself a favour and make sure you include at least one of these exciting destinations on your list of must see places. Most important of all, make sure your holiday insurance is arranged well in advance.

About Lake Lanier Parks Holidays

Many Atlanta residence have know idea about the spectacular park system available at Lake Lanier Ga. Most Atlanta residents know there are some places to stop and have picnics around the lake, but few Atlanta residents are aware of just how vast the Lake Lanier Ga.

Park system really is, and just how much they offer in the way of an in-expensive family entertainment value.

Lake Lanier Ga has over fifty parks scattered all around the lake each of which offers varying amenities. There are some parks such as the Upper and Lower Overlook that offers excellent large open grill pits for large family cookouts, along with very clean, well maintained, and shaded picnic areas.

You have parks such as the Lower located on the Chattahoochee river just below the Buford Dam. The Lower Pool Park offers a boat ramp for putting in small boats, kayaks, canoes, and rafts.
The Lower Pool Park also offers some of the most excellent trout fishing available in the state of Georgia. It's not a bit unusual to witness a trout angler pulling in some nice eighteen-inch or larger rainbow trout.

Spots like West Bank Park, offers an excellent and safe beach area great for keeping the little ones active on a hot sunny day. West Bank Park also offers great picnic areas nestled away in some wooded and well shaded areas right on the lake, and also has a sea wall which is a great spot for those anglers hoping to hook one of the big twenty five pound striper bass that Lake Lanier is so famous for.

Many of the parks have restroom facilities that are clean and well maintained, and many have great kids fully equipped kids playgrounds, and even well kept boat ramps for launching your boats. There is a small parking fee required at each individual park, so make sure and find out what is available at the specific park you plan to attend prior to going there.

At the time, the parking fee is four dollars, however, you can purchase an annual pass for thirty dollars, which gives you access to all the day parks that are managed by the Army Corps of Engineer. But be aware, this annual pass only gives you access to the parks managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. There are a handful of parks around Lake Lanier that are not managed by the Corps, but rather by Individual County, State, and City.

These parks don't offer the opportunity of purchasing an annual pass, but the Army Corps manages the majority of the Lake Lanier parks. So take advantage of these parks, they are all clean, safe, and well guarded, making them perfect one-day getaways for nice family outings on weekends. And please remember to clean up after yourself, and always practice by wearing life jackets when in the water.

Travel Money Saving Expert Tips

Many people are travelling less these days as there has been a sharp increase in all sorts of travelling expenses, especially for the entire family.

Traveling is very essential, either with or without the family as it one of the ways and opportunity through which individuals can relax and spend quality of enjoyable time with their family and close ones. However, there are many secrets and ways through which you can easily take your whole family for a vacation and also make potential savings.

Saving money on travel is not that difficult and painful. With little dedicated efforts and thorough research, savings can easily be made. Saving money on travel is all about preparation and planning. The more time you give to plan your vacation, the more time and research you can put into finding the best deal.

Travelling comprises of several aspects like flight cost, hotel accommodation, food, car rentals, etc. You should give equal importance to all the factors as small significant savings in each of the aspects combine to give way to big savings. Here is a list of tips, which can help you make significant savings on traveling:

Decide on the destination you would like to travel. Most of the destinations have their peak seasons and off peak seasons. If you chose to travel during off peak season, you can easily get cheaper accommodation and lodging. Discounted admission rates to various tourist spots and parks are also promoted during off season periods.

Inexpensive travel deals can easily be found, if you have flexible travel dates than fixed dates. Altering the vacation for a day or two, can allow you to make significant savings.

Travelling on weekends and holidays is always more expensive than travelling in the middle of the week. It is best to research the various travel websites to find the best deals.

Try booking your air travel tickets beforehand. Air travelling cost makes up a large chunk of travelling cost; hence even little savings on these, can literally make huge differences.

Always try to find cheap international flights. It is always recommended to take the help of the web for this. There are many websites also, which charge nominal fees from you, but they combine flight segments from different airlines to give a best deal. Making use of connecting flights may be little tiring and time consuming, but it can also help you save a large amount of money. Round way tickets are always cheaper than one way tickets.

Whenever and wherever you are traveling, it is always recommended to carry plenty of food, drinks and snacks with you. This can completely eliminate eating out which can be really expensive. You must also take advantage and stay at those hotels and resorts that offer free a meal a day like free breakfasts or dinner.

Make it a habit to travel light. Most of the airlines allow limited baggage and charge heavily for anything over it. Remember not to use any over sized bags and try to keep all within one bag for a single person.

Luxurious Camping Tips - Things to Bring With You

If you like being outdoors, but aren't really the outdoorsy type this list should help make you feel more comfortable camping. The six items on this list are easy ways to add a bit of luxury to your camping trips.

1 -- Spices! And other nice food. Camping doesn't have to be hot dogs over the fire (though this is fun, too). You can get a cooking stove, bring some nice spices, and some nicer meals along with you for a much nicer experience overall. Food is the easiest way to add a little luxury to your trip.

2 -- A battery powered fan will keep the air circulating in your tent at night, add a little white noise, and make you generally feel more comfortable in your tent. These fans are easy to find and bring with you, and are a great little way to make a big difference to your experience.

3 -- Having some candles around can really make things feel fancier. You get a nice light setting, a nice smell, and they're easy to set up.

4 -- Two room tents are definitely the more luxurious way to go. For one thing, you can stand up in them. You'll feel like you have a lot more room in a comfortable, indoor space. You can fit a larger sleeping area and have an area to stand while getting dressed. This greatly improves the overall experience.

5 -- Good coffee, or even a mini espresso maker will make your mornings a lot nicer! There's no time you feel more like you're out in the woods than when you wake up in the morning and realize where you are, so make sure it's a good time! Get up to a nice cup of your favorite drink in a nice mug, curl in a comfortable chair with a blanket, and stare out at the lovely scenery you've come all this way to see.

6 -- The most comfortable air mattress you find will make camping a lot nicer, even if luxury isn't your overall goal for this trip. As mentioned above the mornings are key to setting the tone for your day. If you wake up after sleeping on a rock all night you're going to already be off to a bad start. Waking up on a comfortable, raised, flock top air mattress can certainly make your morning a lot more enjoyable, right from the start.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Reviews

Royal Caribbean Cruises provide passengers with the opportunity for a sea journey aboard the ships of one of the largest fleet of passenger ships in the world. The Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is also the cruising company managing Celebrity Cruises offering voyages on the Alaskan region.

Probably the most important contribution of the Royal Caribbean Cruise lines in the industry is when it launched one of the largest cruising ships 'Sovereign of the Seas' in 1988. It set off the rebirth of the construction of large mega ships.

Another mark it made in the cruising industry is the 'Freedom of the Seas' in 2006. It featured the first ever surfing machine aboard a cruise ship. The Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is up to now dominating the industry as the innovative and creative cruise company.

The Royal Caribbean fleet is composed of the biggest passenger ships. From the fleet, the 'Empress of the Seas' is the smallest, yet it can accommodate up to 1,600 passenger. Each cabin in the ship can accommodate 2 passengers. The fleet also has the Vision class which is considerably roomier than the Empress.

The class offers room for about 1,800 to 2,400 guests. The Radiance class of the Royal Caribbean fleet offer accommodation for 2,000 passengers and more. The Voyager class' behemoths can sail with more than 3,100 guests aboard. The staterooms of older ships are considered smaller than staterooms of newer vessels yet the public areas like the balcony are grandly open and deluxe.

Royal Caribbean Cruises start off from numerous ports in the US. The cruise ships which depart from the ports in Tampa, Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale and Miami offer voyages to the Caribbean and Bahamas region. If you prefer other itineraries, choose to board Royal Caribbean ships departing from ports in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Galveston and New Orleans. Ships cruising to San Juan Puerto Rico and Vancouver, Canada take passengers to more exotic and interesting destinations. Departure ports of the ships are often changed and ships too are repositioned so it would be smart to check this information from the Royal Caribbean's official web site or from your travel agent.

Aboard the ships are truly exceptional amenities and services. Apart from that, you will be amused with the ship's interior decorations. Exceptional artworks are combined with matching backdrops which are guaranteed to project a relaxing ambiance.

The ship's public area is designed with vibrant and distinct decors. The cabins where passengers stay during the night have more serene decorations. Reputable artists and experts are hired by the cruise company to decorate and design new vessels. These designers utilize design concepts which will highlight the focal areas of the newly constructed ships like Solarium for adults and pool facilities. In addition, there are certain works of art, displayed I the ship's corridors and stairwells which can provoke and induce the creative imagination of passengers. Decorative mosaics can be seen through non-glare and transparent flooring.

Dining periods aboard the Royal Caribbean ships are set with standard time. Early and late seating are provided in the main dining rooms of the ship. Gourmet appetizers, main entrees and desserts are served to passengers. There are also light and healthy foods for guests with special diets.

Hiking Camping Safety Tips which are essentials

Camping is fun for everybody, but you should be aware of the risks and take steps to protect yourself and your family. Common sense is paramount, but you should still know the basics in order to anticipate and deal with the more everyday incidents such as cuts, grazes and insect bites.

Safety should be the most important thing to consider when preparing for your camping out trip.

Here are a few things to think about before your next excursion.

1) Take a first aid kit

Make sure it is fully kitted out and replenished on a regular basis. This should contain items such as antiseptic cream/spray, bandages, plasters, tweezers, ibuprofen, paracetamol, insect bite/sting spray.

2) Have a charged and working mobile phone at all times

Think about how you are going to keep the phone charged. If the reception is poor upon arrival, think about how you will contact the emergency services should the need arise.

3) Look for dangerous items around camping spot before pitching the tent

Smashed glass or sharp items sticking out of the ground could cause problems when hidden by the base of the tent.

4) Campfire safety

If constructing a campfire, check the prevailing wind. Ensure that your tents, and other people's tents, are well out of range from your fire. Keep children and animals away from your campfire. Ensure you have a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water at hand at all times.

5) Dehydration

Something that is not considered until it is too late. Ensure that everybody drinks adequate amounts of liquid during the day, especially if the weather is hot.

Dehydration can creep up quickly (especially on a hot summer's day) and cause serious problems. The symptoms of dehydration include pale, cool, clammy skin, rapid breathing, excessive thirst, excessive and prolonged sweating, loss of skin elasticity, and sunken eyes in children.

If these symptoms are present, immediately get the sufferer in shade and have them completely rest. Also, remove any unnecessary clothing. Finally, drink cool water.

6) The nearest hospital

Find out where this is before leaving home. Hopefully, this should never need to be visited, but it is useful to know roughly in which direction to drive should you need to get there urgently.

7) Be careful if you go hiking alone

Ensure that somebody knows where you have gone. Consider whether anybody is likely to know where you are should get stuck at in the middle of nowhere with a broken leg.
