First of all, Many Thanks to chinaxiantour.com/ for my this unforgettable Beijing to Xian Tour.

Actually I preferred flight for this one day tour from Beijing to Xian.
Now, want to share things, "What were in my mind??"
As we all know, the Xi'an city wall has a long and significant history, as does Xi'an itself. As city symbols go, there are much worse than a centuries old wall surrounding a centre, which also happens to be the largest of its kind in China. Xi'anese are justifiably proud to have such a historical land mark. Tourists and locals alike visit the wall in the hundreds of thousands if not millions every year. This page however has no intention of rehashing the history the Xian wall (interesting as that history is, it is just not the scope of this article). Instead I hope to you will consider undertaking a challenge to enjoy the wall like a local rather than a tourist.
Xian is located well inland and is difficult to get to by land. The new train to Lhasa and cheap flights on regional Chinese airlines are the most expedient way to get there. The city of Xian with its very well preserved bell tower and city walls would be a worthy adventure in itself. Like many of the cities in China, the sight of western tourists walking around on the streets with out chaperones is a novelty and they go out of their way to be helpful.
Xian was the home of the first emperor of China that had succeeded in unifying the 7 kingdoms of that time into the beginnings of modern china. He built for himself a large number of burial chambers the total number still unknown as they are still discovering them today. 3 of the larger burial chambers include among other things a complete army exactly duplicating the individual features of all of the soldiers and their equipment as well as horses and sprit carts to take the emperor to the next world.
Before I start my talks with you, at very first, want to share my positive experience with - Home Hostels Valencia
You can sleep from 10€ per night. Sure I recommended it for you.
Personal safety and security is often a major concern for people backpacking across Europe, especially for first time backpackers. While some unusual and alarming crimes have been reported by backpackers in Europe, the more common dangers you need to protect yourself from are simple thefts. Follow these simple tips to protect and secure your belongings and remember to never walk around at night without a friend. You may also want to carry some sort of personal safety device, like a can of pepper spray or a Coleman brass whistle, in case you find yourself in an unpleasant situation.
One of the most important pieces of gear you can bring along for safety and security is a collection of small combination locks with keys. It is much more likely for a thief to open your backpack and take just a few items while you are talking or making a purchase than for someone to run off with the entire pack. Lock the zippers of each compartment, or at least those containing valuables, to prevent this.
Napping on trains is a great way to get in some much needed rest, but it is also a good time for someone to steal your backpack without you knowing. It is a good idea to use a larger lock to secure your pack to the train's luggage rack. Most hostels offer rental lockers to protect your valuables at night or while you are out. Make use of these as well. You may need to bring along a small lock for the locker, while some require the rental of a special lock.
Usually, it is possible to plan your European backpacking tours with any travel agency although you may need to book in small groups of 8 to 10 people. The backpacking tours are operated by experts with skilled experience with the geography where you will be hiking which will ensure that you have a safe trip. You will be able to select shorter or extended European hiking tours that may last for a few hours to those that last for days. They generally offer different plans that will suit each and every kind of need.
Keep in mind, that the better you prepare for your trip the more enjoyment you'll get. Well guided walking tours are also obtainable and worth checking out as well.
All things considered, if you are planning on backpacking trails that few have been on, then it pays to have a professional guide so that you will be able to appreciate secure, adventurous hiking even in the most remote locations on the planet.
